Local Presence — Map Business Cards
Managing Yandex Maps and 2GIS business cards: reviews, geo-grid positions, review replies — for local SEO and AI visibility
Local Presence manages your business cards on Yandex Maps and 2GIS: data sync, review monitoring, geo-grid position tracking and review reply drafts. For local businesses, map cards are one of the main sources AI engines cite in "near me" answers.
What the module does
- Connects Yandex Business and 2GIS cabinets via an authorized session
- Card sync: name, address, phone, opening hours, categories
- Review monitoring with aggregated ratings and scores
- Geo-grid: card positions across a grid of geo-points around the address
- Review reply drafts published after moderation
Important detail: Yandex has no public Business API — the module works through a user cabinet session (cookies) that lives 30–90 days and needs periodic reconnection. This is honestly reflected in the UI: when the session expires the card is flagged and reconnection is offered, rather than showing stale data as current. 2GIS publicly exposes only review aggregates — review texts are not available and we don't fabricate them.
Why it matters for AI visibility
For queries like "dentist near me" or "best cafe downtown", AI engines rely on map and aggregator data. An up-to-date card with a rating and fresh review replies increases the chance your business lands in the local AI answer — not a competitor with a better-kept card.
Do I need access to the Yandex Business cabinet?
Yes, for Yandex an authorized cabinet session is used (login/password or cookies). Yandex Business has no public API — we work with a real session and honestly flag its expiry.
Why can't I see 2GIS review texts?
2GIS doesn't provide public access to review texts — only aggregate ratings and counters. We show real aggregates and don't generate fake texts.
