Ask AI is a chat assistant inside the GEO Engine project that answers questions in plain language ("why did visibility drop?", "which competitors outrank us?") strictly from real project data: monitoring results, GEO Score, catalog and integration statuses.
How it works
The assistant doesn't generate answers from thin air — it calls backend tools that read the same data as the dashboards: per-engine visibility, mention dynamics, share of voice, competitor lists, product catalog, AI showcase status. When data is missing or an integration isn't connected, the assistant honestly says so instead of inventing numbers.

Does the assistant replace dashboard analytics?
No, it's a complement. Dashboards give precise charts and tables; the assistant gives quick answers and interpretation: "your Perplexity visibility dropped because of three prompts — here they are".
Where does the assistant get its numbers?
From the same sources as the project sections: VisibilityResult, GEO Score, catalog, integration settings. It has no access to other projects and cannot cross tenant boundaries.
